There are many songs out there dedicated to several body parts (“Brown eyes” “Whip My Hair” “Hips Don’t Lie” etc..) but let’s be honest, all the best songs in the world are about one specific body part:
Yup, the bum. The butt cheeks. The booty. The derriere. From Sir-Mix-A-Lot to Destiny’s Child to Jason Derulo, any song about butts is an instant classic. So you can understand Athi and Patoranking’s decision, when they dropped a song exclusively about their favourite body part this year, to call it “Pretty Bum Bum”.
The West African dancehall stars dropped the fire track in August and it’s far to say that it has had people dancing ever since then. This week they took it one further and dropped the video too!
