Indigenous rapper and YBNL boss, Olamide has laid his mother to rest in a very private ceremony last Thursday, April 5th, at the Ikoyi Cemetery. Being a very quiet and private one, the ceremony had only close family and friends in attendance.



The rapper who was very close to his mother when she was alive, also felt her presence when she had died, and as such, chose to keep the details of her death private. His mother, whose cause of death is still unknown to the public, died on 30th January, 2018. That day was coincidentally his son, Maximilliano’s, birthday.

It was gathered that the rapper’s mother, Ronke Osisanya Adedeji, reportedly died from an undisclosed illness. According to multiple sources close to the rapper, his mother “had been sick for some time” before she passed away.[full_width]
